Dr. Param Gill has been on the medical staff at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton since 1984. She is a graduate of Jabalpur University in India with a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Jabalpur. Dr. Param Gill has brought credit and distinction to herself as Chief of Staff at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton from 2008 to 2009, of which she was previously the Vice Chief of Staff. In addition, Dr. Gill served as Chief of Staff at Lodi Memorial Hospital from 1992 to 1993, and as the Chief Resident of the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology at San Joaquin General Hospital. Dr. Gill has been a board member at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Lodi Memorial Hospital and has been known for her outstanding leadership and guidance throughout her service. As a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Gill has stood firm to the hospital’s mission to improve community health and the quality of life through direct and/or supportive services; provide quality and timely healthcare services, ranging from health promotion and education to diagnostics, acute-inpatient care, rehabilitation services, and home care. In recognition of these services Dr. Param Gill received an award for Excellence in Medicine by the California Assembly on May 12, 2008.
Dr. Param Gill has shown dedication to her community by being a speaker on various issues i.e. sexually transmitted diseases, hormone replacement therapy, and early detection of breast and cervical cancer. Dr. Param Gill is a leader in minimally invasive gynecological surgery for women and has her Masters in Robotic Surgery.
She presently serves as Adjuct Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2015 and Assistant Clinical Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of California, Davis since 2016 to present. She is affiliated with the California Medical Association, San Joaquin Medical Society, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, she has been inducted into the Lodi Community Hall of Fame and earned honors in preventative and social medicine.
