Born in Denver, Colorado, Magegan moved to the Central Valley at a young age and has called it home ever since. She embarked on her journey into the medical field after graduating from the University of California, Merced with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. It was during a summer spent shadowing healthcare providers that Magegan's passion for becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) truly blossomed.
Magegan's professional career began as a scribe at Manteca Doctors Emergency, where she quickly distinguished herself through her diligence and dedication. Transitioning to a private cardiology clinic, Magegan expanded her role to become a Medical Assistant (MA) while continuing her duties as a scribe. Her hands-on experience and commitment to excellence propelled her to pursue further education at Touro University, where she earned dual degrees in Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and Masters in Public Health.
Having found her niche in women's health during her rotations, Magegan is deeply committed to preventative medicine and obstetrics. Her personal experiences and empathetic approach uniquely position her to provide compassionate care to patients from all walks of life. With roots firmly planted in California, Magegan is honored to serve her community and make a positive impact in the lives of those she encounters.
