I grew up in the Bay Area and have always called California my home. At a young age, I knew that I had an interest in medicine and was eager to find my path. I went to SF State for undergrad where I studied human physiology. I then went on to work as an EMT in the Bay Area for a few years while also volunteering at a Hospital in Berkeley in their postpartum unit. I loved being a part of a team that helped care for women and knew that my professional care had to incorporate this.
I received my Master's degree from Charles Drew University in Los Angeles, California in 2019. I moved back home to Northern California where I started my family and started practicing as a PA in the Bay Area. I worked in primary care for nearly 4 years. This was an important factor for me as a provider and set a strong foundation for my career. I truly enjoyed providing care to my patients and helping them navigate health as a whole.
My family has since relocated to the Central Valley and I am excited to continue my career in women's health at Gill OB/GYN. This has been a passion of mine and I am thrilled to deliver care here.
An important part of being a provider is providing patient centered care. What I have learned in primary care is that there are many factors that go into a person, and many of those factors affect a person's health. I strive to learn about my patients and provide evidence based medicine that matters to them.
I live at home with my husband and 2 children. We enjoy bike rides, swimming, and finding new places to eat good food. I love a great cup of coffee and will never say no to a beach trip!
